What is NINA?

Nestlé India Nutrition Assistant (NINA) is an Intelligent Virtual Assistant which is designed by Nestle along with Google to give automated and intuitive responses to all customers and stakeholders dealing with questions on Nutrition requirements and gives solutions for child nutrition and meal plans. With young mothers and caregivers confused about their child’s health, NINA helps them with real-time, personalized advice with scientifically accurate and balanced nutritional solutions.


How does NINA work?

NINA is integrated with Google Voice Assistant, which enables voice-activated functionality and responds to verbal queries. This enables NINA to act as a fully functional Conversational AI tool with Growth Tracker databases. This voice-activated device is useful to generate immediate responses to all queries from mothers and caregivers. Along with access to regular content for frequently asked questions, this nutrition agent is automated to learn and improve the quality and accuracy of responses. This makes the system more responsive and user-friendly. 

NINA is integrated into the AskNestle website and linked to Indian Academy of Pediatrics database for Growth and Nutrition tracking. This database integration containing old records allows personalized choices of diet plans based on regions and allergies. Access to old data for easier future prediction is further fueled by the Nutrition Score given to each individual child for easy evaluation. This is generated by smart systems to evaluate and understand the needs of the customer. Along with presence on their website, NINA can also be accessed on Google Home and Phone Trackers. This empowers the digital assistant to act across multiple channels and give users a cross-channel experience.
